Old Road Furniture Company is owned and operated by the Horst family. We have had our showroom and workshop located in Intercourse, PA for over 20 years. We are known by customers nationwide for the beautiful, durable and affordable furniture we craft.
Our business began several years ago by offering a line of fine reproductions of Henry Lapp furniture. While we continue to offer reproductions of Lapp's work, we also custom design and craft many new pieces of furniture each week.

In all of our furniture we use solid wood and solid joinery. Only the best hardwoods are used for our primary woods and we use poplar for our interior parts – such as drawer bottoms and sides. No veneers, plywood, or pressboards are used here! Our fine artisans also use traditional construction techniques like mortise and tenon, hinged rule joints and dovetails. A careful blending of all these methods yields furniture which we know you will be happy to own and use and pass on to future generations.
