This is a custom pub table/island made from a cross-sectional cut slab from a multi-trunk maple tree. There is wonderful curl from the crotch of the tree and beautiful spalting. We filled all the cracks with our two-part epoxy resin. The base was designed with three legs to fit the unique shape of the tree without needing to cut the slab. We painted the steel base black.
